At the Automotive News Canada Congress, industry leaders warned that trade uncertainty and U.S. tariffs are already affecting investment and production in Canada’s auto sector. APMA President Flavio Volpe described the impact of U.S. tariffs on the North American auto sector as “pretty ugly,” despite the temporary relief provided by parts exemptions.
