Flavio Volpe, president of Canada's Automotive Parts Manufacturers' Association, stated, 'The auto sector is going to shut down within a week.' With automotive parts imports totaling around $225 billion, the immediate impact of additional tariffs is expected to add $60 billion to costs – largely passed on to consumers
