Trump's Tariffs Could Freeze Canadian Auto Production, Industry CEO Says

Eliminating this key resource of factory space, labor, and geographic proximity will sharply cut into the already thinning margins that automakers rely on, CEO Flavio Volpe told Automotive News, as the imposition of a 25% tariff wipes out their profit margins, which he says are close to 10%.
