The U.S. Supreme Court struck down President Trump’s emergency tariffs on Canada and other countries, ruling he exceeded his authority, though new temporary tariffs and sector-specific duties remain in place. APMA President Flavio Volpe said “there is some value in knowing now that the Supreme Court was prepared to uphold the law with an overreaching President,” but noted industrial tariffs on Canada are still in effect.
