Trudeau’s Canada-US relations council includes auto heavyweights

PM Justin Trudeau assembled a new Canada-U. S. relations council to support the federal government as it deals with the incoming Trump administration’s vow to impose tariffs. Flavio Volpe, president of the Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association, Linda Hasenfratz, chair of auto parts manufacturer Linamar Corp., and Lana Payne, national president of Unifor, represent the auto industry.
