The interview focused on the EV slowdown hitting Canadian auto investment as automakers respond to weaker demand and shifting U.S. policy. APMA President Flavio Volpe said that when the Trump administration reversed course on EV subsidies, charging infrastructure, and consumer incentives, it “killed whatever short- to mid-term market potential there was for these vehicles.”
