Canada to impose tariffs of up to 25% on vehicles imported from U.S. Wednesday, escalating trade war

Up to 60 per cent of cars purchased in Canada each year are imported from the United States, according to Flavio Volpe. Canada is also the largest export market for American-made cars, and about 1.2 million vehicles are imported from the United States every year.
