PM Carney announced that there’s no relief coming soon for sectoral tariffs. APMA President Flavio Volpe said it is “important for the people in my industry to know is that means you have got to hunker down a little longer.” On the US approach to negotiations, Volpe comments that “we’re starting to see leading macroeconomic indicators” that seem to be pushing the US team to be more “practical” and “based in reality.”
