Alabama braces for impact as global tariff war escalates

Automotive News reports that tariffs aimed at Canada’s auto sector will “score direct hits” on auto producing states, according to Flavio Volpe, CEO of the Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association. "The message is always the same. This will backfire immediately on the USA," Volpe posted Sunday on X.
