APMA announces its 14th Annual Automotive Outlook Conference, produced in partnership with Export Development Canada (EDC). This year’s theme is Merging into a New Automotive Era. The agenda will address relevant strategic issues and provide insight into the automotive parts sector as the industry emerges into its new era.
Subjects covered: economic overview, sector statistics, game changing technologies, vehicle lightweighting, vehicle electrification and Volkswagen in North America.

APMA announces its 14th Annual Automotive Outlook Conference,produced in partnership with Export Development Canada (EDC). This year's theme is Merging into a New Automotive Era. The event will occur at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel on December 3, 2009.
APMA is especially pleased to confirm that our keynote luncheon speaker will be Thomas van Loon-Behr, General Manager of Commodities Purchasing, Volkswagen Group of America Inc., Chattanooga Operations, LLC. Mr. van Loon-Behr's presentation will speak to the current situational plans at Volkswagen and the path forward. Other speakers will present on topics pertinent to the theme, which include: a macro economic overview of the state of the economy; a statistical auto industry overview and significant "game-changing technologies" that may impact your current operations; vehicle light-weighting innovations in metal and the current status of vehicle electrification.
