APMA's Annual Outook Conference is produced in partnership with Export Development Canada (EDC) and supported by the University of Windsor's Odette School of Business.

This year's theme, "Advancing Technologies to Enhance Market Competitiveness", focusses the agenda on increasing the competitiveness of Canadian suppliers.  Through market knowledge, advanced technologies, and sophisticated practices, Canadian suppliers can increase competitiveness, profitability and business opportunities.

Beginning with an overview of economic conditions and making sense of their volatility by Aimee Rae of EDC, John Casesa of Guggenheim Partners will follow by providing insight into the automotive industry's supply chain and investments.

Magna Closures' Kevin Sheehan will present a comprehensive review of specific measures taken to make their facilities world class, cost competitive manufacturers.  Kevin will review the challenges and successes experienced during the process.  Jeff Trumble, Trumble Inc., will then review how to leverage the digital revolution in 2012 to strengthen your manufacturing prowess.

The agenda will conclude with a keynote presentation from Matt Crossley of General Motors of Canada.  GM's Engineering Centre in Oshawa, Ontario is responsible for a significant amout of engineering for future General Motors platforms.  Canadian suppliers have an excellent opportunity to grow with GM.  You won't want to miss this presentation!
